The installation program will detect possible existing ICS installations on your system. In this case, you can also remove or update the already existing software. The installation program will prompt you with all possible options. That's it. After installation the following main programs can be found on your system: ics.library: ICS is implemented as shared library stored in your LIBS: drawer. ScanTarget: This programs does generate a scanner profile. The profiles are than used by ICS for color correction. The program can be found in the installed ICS: drawer. ICS Prefs: This is the main preferences program for ICS. I allows setting up the wanted color correction based on profiles for the user devices. The program can be found in the installed ICS: drawer. ICS Conver: This programs allows color correcting images in various formats using ICS. I can also be used 10 convert various image formats 10 IFF by simply disabling ICS. The program can be found in the installed ICS: drawer. ICS_Profiles: This drawer contains profiles for monitors and scanners. The drawer should (not musi) also be used later for storing your generated scanner profiles. A short note 10 Power PC users: there have been two users with problems getting the FPU versions of ICS running. Images corrected by ICS had serious noise and color faults. The problem seems to be called by the PPC software. Please update your PPC software or install the non- FPU versions of ICS. 7
